Customer: Important distributor to retail chain store Trucco with 21 stores selling apparel,footwear and accessories for women.
Goal: Optimization of their purchasing in Asia as their competitors are lowering
their selling price, forcing them to buy better.
How: We made a detailed study of the purchasing and logistic process and of the company´s current vendor base and potential suppliers.
New procedures and negotiating tools were implemented along with suppliers´ consolidation in
China and opening of new sourcing markets in India and Vietnam.
Result: The company increased their purchasing volume by 11% spending same amount of money.
